Leuphana University of Lüneburg encourages refugees with an academic background or academic ambition to make use of the various opportunities offered on campus.

Open Lecture Hall

The Open Lecture Hall offers refugees the opportunity to attend selected university courses as auditing students and to receive individual advice support at no cost. Learn more

Bridging Programme

While the OLH allows participation in selected courses, the Bridging Programme also offers the opportunity to take final examinations and acquire credits. More information is to be found here.

Study Counseling

The International Office of Leuphana University coordinates the university’s refugee programme and provides advice regarding admission to university studies.

Ms. Claudia Wölk, International Co-ordinator at the International Office and the University’s contact person for refugee matters, handles all requests. You are welcome to arrange a personal appointment with her. Please find the contact details at the bottom of this page.

Please note that the International Office does not evaluate documents such as school leaving certificates or university degree certificates. However, you can apply for a general check of certificates relevant for university entrance by Uni-Assist at no cost and at any time. Ask at the International Office for a fee waiver.
